Welcome to the Interdisciplinary Research Center for One Health at the University of Sargodha, a hub of innovation and knowledge dedicated to addressing the interconnected health challenges of humans, animals, and the environment.
This center embodies the One Health approach, integrating these domains to tackle global issues like antimicrobial resistance (AMR), zoonoses, climate resilience, and public health. Guided by our vision, “Excellence in One Health to Save and Transform Millions of Lives,” we aim to foster cutting-edge research and practical solutions for global health challenges.
Through interdisciplinary collaborations, we empower students with critical skills to address complex health issues, contributing to sustainable animal production, public health, and environmental protection. Our mission emphasizes fostering partnerships, conducting impactful research, and facilitating global knowledge exchange.
Aligned with the philosophy of “Health for Wealth and Wealth for Health,” we are building a robust knowledge economy that benefits all sectors. This initiative positions Pakistan in the global One Health network, advancing efforts to combat environmental degradation and AMR.
