I am pleased to acknowledge the commendable efforts of the Interdisciplinary Research Center for One Health at the University of Sargodha in advancing the complex health challenges through the One Health framework. This initiative embodies the essence of collaborative, cross-disciplinary research, which is fundamental in addressing the complex global health challenges we face today.
I encourage the center to continue its invaluable work in fostering sustainable health solutions that bridge the gap between different sectors. As we face global challenges in health, environment, and animal welfare, it is critical that we adopt innovative, interdisciplinary solutions. The One Health approach, which connects human, animal, and environmental health, offers a unique opportunity to address these issues at their root. The integration of One Health principles into research and education is paramount, and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is committed to supporting these efforts through increased resources, enhanced governance mechanisms, and fostering partnerships that drive impactful change.
I encourage to continue fostering collaboration, research, and a shared vision to advance this agenda for the benefit of global community.
